This book was as good as I thought it would be. This book is fairly popular, even now, so I was concerned that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. However, it did. Although I would like to warn you not to set your expectations too high because this is middle-grade (not saying MG can't be fantastic on its own, I think that's a common misconception) and it's one of Rick Riordan's older books. The characters, humor, plot, and dialogue in all was on point. I totally recommend this.

Este libro me mantuvo enganchada de principio a fin y no podía parar de leer. Admito que estaba asustada porque pensé que no me iba a gustar pero me sorprendió para bien.

Tenemos a Percy, Anabeth y a Grover (the golden trio) quienes me hicieron reír muchísimo y cada vez que hablaban sentía en el corazón la amistad bien bonita que tenían.

Debo decir que shipeo a Percy con Anabeth porque creo que hacen una linda pareja. Y no puedo con sus apodos

I regret not reading this as a kid. It’s not easy to come back to a children series lol I did not realize that Percy is 12 years old in this, kind of struggled to stay interested, but my goal is to get through these five in the series.
