The Fixer by, Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
4/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
TRIGGER WARNINGS-
.
.
.
Death, murder, abuse, kidnapping, drugs
Sixteen year old Tess Kendrick is from a small ranch in Montana and is sent to live with her older sister, Ivy, in Washington D.C after her grandfather developed Alzheimer's. After being enroll at the prestigious Hardwicke Academy she finds out that Ivy is a renowned, "fixer", she helps fix/solve the very elites problems. Now all of Tess's classmates keep coming to her in hopes of her fixing their problems.
Soon Tess finds herself tangled up in one of Ivy's cases that somehow involve her classmates family members.
In true Jennifer Lynn Barnes fashion there are lots of twists, turns and cliff hangers. The book literally ends with a segway into the second one.
I love the short chapters and per usual the secondary/supporting characters, (Asher). Tess is a very strong and independent character, and for once there wasn't a love triangle, (though there could definitely be the making of one starting).
