Maybe this is just a me thing but for a long cast of characters I felt it unnecessarily confusing to sometimes  their nicknames, then first or last names randomly. I don’t mind flipping back and forth but having to do that and say in the story became stressful because the names were already unusual. I didn’t start enjoying it until the last 5 chapters and it that was the beginning of the story I wouldn’t have mind.
