Cried at the death of the dragon just like I did as a kid.

You turned into a hero when I wasn't watching.

The final Alanna adventure is complete. Although I was becoming bored by the same storyline very book, I’m very happy that Alanna has found her calling and her forever partner. The ending of this was quite good - a nice mix of action and tying up loose ends without info-dumping.

Back in love! A powerful book to round out this part of the series. Alanna's love affairs are so fun and sexy and on her own terms. The Dragon is a fierce dude and he doesn't seem to need to conquer her in any way or prove anything to her. He feels his own power enough that he doesn't feel challenged when she feels her own.

My relief at A saying a final NO to Jonathan was huge. Not only because he loses it in the last book, but because he needed someone who could rival his arrogance and selfishness. Not with more arrogance and selfishness, but someone with the same "breeding" who exhibited generosity and humility, which is what he found in Thayet. Buri is a fierce b**** and I want to be friends with her, go for hikes with her, and ask her to be my personal trainer.

Excited to see what the Immortals series has in store for me!
