Only got through this because I'm curious what happens. Even worse than the first one. Still really crude but somehow also boring??? So much introducing of other characters and things that I'm sure will come back around eventually but they haven't yet so it's just a lot of things that don't make sense, plus Knox and Aria being stubborn and weird and mean to each other. Whatever. Only sticking around through the last one so that I can get some damn closure.

The character development is slightly better than it is in Ashes of Chaos. My problem is the side characters are written better than either of the M/C’s. The spice is so worth pushing through the first half of the book!
