I liked Finn & Halston, especially for one another after all Finn had been through. But this one wasn't my favorite of the series. Still really good though.

Another hot, hot listen from Jessica Hawkins. Loved the chemistry between Houston & Finn. So very steamy. Andi Arndt & Sebastian York hit it out of the park with their narration as they always do.

Yours to Bare had a sensuality and provocativeness to it that was wildly addicting. It made you anxious for more with every turn of the page. I only wished I would’ve gotten more of a hea, the ending felt like more of a hfn. Aside from that loved this story. This was my first book by Jessica Hawkins but I and I can’t wait to explore the rest of her catalogue.

eff this shit.
I'm so mad it ended where it did. I WANT TO READ THE REST OF THE DAGGUM STORY !!!!!!! YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME !!!!!!!!!!!!! please ? pretttttttyyyyyy please ?
this book totally had 5 stars. I loved it. I was interested; invested; OBSESSED.
and then, the end. like, REALLY?! I need to know how it plays out with Kendra and Marissa and Rich and Dad. I need to see them work through the next part because it is going to be just as interesting as the rest of it has been, IF NOT EVEN MORE. I don't care to go back and read about Finn and Sadie. Fuck Sadie. She was filler material anyway - but I want so badly to get more of Finn.
I will admit, Halston wasn't always my favorite character. She annoyed me at times. She was immature. She was self-destructive. But that's her character - and her backstory completely supports those parts that annoyed me. and I love that the author didn't break her character just to appease readers.. because there was no way that the author didn't know she was going to create those feelings. There is no way this ends here though. So... WHEN does the next one come out?
Okay, I cant make myself give only 4 stars. But really, I would have given her 10 if the story didn't end where it did.

Ever since reading Slip of The Tongue, I've rooted for Finn to get his happily ever after. Frankly, I never liked him with Sadie. It just didn't fit. But Halston...Halston was perfect for Finn. Jessica did a wonderful job with Halston's character and her struggles with mental health. I really, truly felt as if I was a part of the story--like I was living through and feeling the same emotions she was.

In books with triangles,  I always worry about the guy that doesn't get the girl so I was so happy to get Finn's story. Jessica doesn't disappoint with Yours to Bare. From the start, Finn and Halston have crazy chemistry and Hawkins lights up the pages with their intensity. These two fall so hard- and FAST. Yours to Bare is addicting story that is sure to tug your heart and leave you squirming in your seat. I LOVE when a book makes me question things and this one definitely had some scenes that made me say "why am I liking this?!" Excited to see what comes next from this amazing author!

Yours To Bare

It was a bit slow to start and get into but when I did I was definitely invested and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen between these two characters. I loved that the hero was a mix of a few things, he was a dirty talker, possessive, vulnerable and healing from a broken heart. I loved his vulnerability, to me it was one of the most endearing things about him. I also loved the way the author portrayed the relationship between Finn and Halston, they had their issues but it didn't come off as if Finn was using Halston to get over his previous relationships. I loved that Halston had issues that weren't easily fixed, I loved that she muddled her way through until she found what was right for her.

I didn't read Slip of the Tongue before reading this and honestly, I don't think I missed too much. I stayed up far too late in order to finish this all in one sitting because I kept wanting more. For some reason, I got super Taylor Swift 'Red" album and sepia filter vibes in the first half of the book when Finn first finds the journal and meets Halston. As events progressed, it turned from 'Red' to Lana del Rey 'Born to Die' and black and white filter vibes during Halston's spiral out of control. I am glad that the author went into how unhealthy the relationship between Finn and Halston became as well as Halston needing to work on her own mental health before she fixes some of the issues in her relationships with her father as well as Finn.

Meh, I could have taken this book or left it. Really the first 2 books were enough for this series!

Wow, I really struggled with this one. I liked the other two books in this series but this one was just so ridiculous. Neither one of these characters were likable at all. Finn was ok in the first book but came off as a complete sleezeball in this one. And Halston, good lord was she ever a mental case. At least the sex scenes were tolerable but that’s about the only redeeming thing in this whole story.
