Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree is book one in the Legends & Lattes series. Viv an orc barbarian finally retires from the warriors life. She settles in Thune and plans to open up the first coffee shop. Old frenemies and shady people plan to upset her plans.

So cute!!! What a fun book! I felt like we’ve got some dungeons and dragons vibes in this but with a fun cozy atmosphere. Viv just wants to retire and have her coffee shop! She doesn’t plan to meet friends or even a love interest.

The menu was fun! I like that we got to see the menu as everything continued to be added to it. Definitely an enjoyable read. Lighthearted but adventurous!

I really enjoyed this book although not something I normally read. Nice light book about an orc that tries to step away from her past and opens a coffee shop where no one even knows what it is. She meets some friends along the way and builds lovely relationships with them. It’s a great story that follows her journey and how she copes with struggles along the way. Not as in love with it as other people seem to be but I did enjoy it and would recommend

I loved this cozy fantasy ❤️ It was fun to be in such a fantasy world but with the mundane task of opening a cafe after a life of bounties and quests. It was a perfect balance of still having plot and conflict but generally pretty low stakes. I can wait to read more in the series!
