So I'm really starting to like Caelena a bit more and Arobynn a lot less. I might actually now have enough tolerance and interest in Caelena to read Throne of Glass. I'll wait on my final verdict till after I've read The Assassin and the Empire.

I think I ship Sam and Caelena. I have a bad feeling that she and Sam are not going to end up together regardless. :(

I am very surprise and also saddened by the supposed 'villains' of this novella. The men who were supposedly villains while maybe not having the highest moral fiber were at least much better than the Queen and Arobynn.

I am very mad at Arobynn!!! I can't believe he would do something so low! I am so grateful to the Mute Master now since he gave her the ability to buy both her and Sam's freedom.

I am also grateful to Arobynn a bit since his vileness pushed Caelena and Sam to leave him.
