What… the… f*ck. This book was so good, and so creepy. There were several moments where my heart was beating faster in my chest and I felt myself on edge just thinking about Daphne, which, you know, you’re not supposed to do. It was a little slow at first but it really picked up! Definitely want to read more from Malerman!

Honestly, this wasn’t for me. There was a lot of promise in this book and I think it would make a much better VISUAL tale than a book. Buuuuuut yeahhh, this wasn’t it for me. But I encourage others to read it for themselves and make their own opinions! There was plenty in this that kept me from DNFing. But at the end of the day, this just wasn’t my jam.

If you take a shot every time the word "baller" is used you'll be in the hospital with alcohol poisoning 25% of the way through. This could have been an amazing story but it comes off as a very young YA story that is honestly pretty lame.
