When I got to the last page of this book, I was definitely less tense. I was finally able to relax. I will give this book one thing: it keeps you page turning. I was glued to every page, wanting to know more to try and figure out who's being weird and who might be the killer. To retain the little details so reveals could hit just that much harder! There were definitely crumbs to follow!
That said, I personally didn't like the main character. Her indecisiveness went on till basically the end of the book and, while she did grow a little from it, it made reading her POV like grating teeth. The characters feel real and fleshed out, but that doesn't mean that you'll like HOW they're fleshed out I suppose. Yet the flaws that made me roll my eyes are all the types of things you'd see in reality, I just really didn't like Bec and her cowardice. It basically made for WHY the book unfolded the way it did, but was infuriating to watch. A part of me wonders if I just wasn't empathetic to Bec's situation, even after knowing all the details.
My only other gripe is that part of the main twist is a lie, part by omission and part just a lie. I definitely think misdirects are necessary for a book like this, but lying to the audience and explicitly having the POV character not mention information that they definitely would have said allowed to another character immediately took me out of some scenes. I understood if for the POV killing of characters...but one of the more important details was saved for a much later reveal instead of just cutting away from the scene entirely.

Yeah, I agree with a lot of other reviewers that I hated the characters in this book, but they had the sort of drama you hear rich drunk girls screaming about at the pub that I couldn’t resist reading more.
I wasn’t huge on the multiple perspectives at first, but towards the end as everyone was trying to make conclusions, I felt it added a panic and urgency that was enjoyable. (Especially on Sunday night going back and forth between Miles and Bec)
Overall, very fun, very glad I got the chance to read!

I was lucky to win this book through a giveaway, I’ve always enjoyed slasher thrillers and this book didn’t disappoint me.
The plot is very engaging and most of the characters are awful and full of secrets with the exception of one. I was able to figure out the identity of the killer quite early but I’ve still enjoyed the book a lot and couldn’t wait to find out how it’s was going to end.
If I had to underline one of the few flaws of the book I would say that the writing in some parts is a bit repetitive; if I had to take a shot every time the main character chewed the inside of her cheek I would probably ended up in the hospital for alcohol intoxication.
Overall a very good debut book, I think I will probably read the author’s next works.
