I found it to be a little bit different from the other books from this author and this series. Typically, Catherina's books are filled to the brim with lots of soap opera type drama and shitty parents. This book seems to put the drama in the backseat while Lex and Raya's relationship really drives this book forward.
It's a book about love, trust and healing and it's absolutely beautiful.
