I will start this by saying, the Windsors with their wives and their sisters-in-law are just perfection 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 The way they protect each other feels so nice, and I love how the sisters-in-law are the more ruthless of the bunch ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆

Now let me delve more into this book's feature couple: Lex and Raya.
What can I about these two to make them justice?
They are flawed characters, nowhere near perfect, but that's what makes them so loveable ❤️
I loved the depth of character we got in both Raya and Lex, how they had to work through everything to end up where they are in their lives.

Lex has always been my favorite Windsor brother ever since I first read about him. He's just this passionate individual, who struggles to let go of the control he has over his life and the lives of everyone around him. I kind of see how he became like this, the trauma he went through cannot result into something to be proud of. But I loved how he tried his hardest for Raya, and the way he still tries to be the best version of himself just for her 🥹❤️

Raya, my girl Raya. She never had the full picture until much later in the book. She had to struggle to find her way between this huge family she entered unwillingly (at first) but thank God they loved her instantly. She stayed by Lex's side through everything, all the struggles he went through, the nightmares, everything.
(well everything except for a few days where she had to leave cause he fucking pointed a gun to her head 💔 but we look towards how he did his absolute best to earn her forgiveness and trust back)

I genuinely want to say that they are definitely made for each other, and I will stand on this hill until the end.

I also really enjoyed the plot this book followed. How we went from bankruptcy, to the merger and arranged marriage, to the internship,
to Raya's biological shitty ass father who deserves eternal suffering for what he did
and ending with fulfilling Raya's dad's dream car.
It was a small rollercoaster, but I knew in the back of my mind that it was going to end well (HEA ftw).

With Sierra's story bringing the end of this lovely series, I can genuinely say that I love this series wholeheartedly, and that I will miss them, but I'll keep the crying over the end of the series in my review of The Devious Husband 😂

To end this off, some passages and quotes I loved from this book:

"That's one half of my heart you're holding," he tells Lex, his voice trembling.

"Mr. and Mrs. Windsor, everyone!" the officiant says.
Applause erupts around us, but Lex and I can't take our eyes off each other. He drops his forehead to mine and draws a ragged breath. "Mrs. Windsor," he repeats, the sweetest smile on his face as he straightens and grabs my hand.

Jealousy looks good on you, Mrs. Windsor. See me after class tomorrow for extra credit. You deserve it for showing me such a pretty sight.

Adrian fucking Astor. I bite back a laugh when I realize what the fully enclosed desk is for, and why he so firmly insisted I'd thank him for it eventually. What a legend.

"Ready?"
"I'm not sure," I tell him honestly.
"I'm right behind you, Raya. Take to the skies, sweetheart, and trust that I'll be there to catch you if you fall."

I follow his lead, the irony not lost on me. That's exactly what he did to me. He made me fall so slowly I didn't even realize it was happening. I just hope he keeps his words and catches me, because I see it now... I'm free falling.

I want to do more than try with her - I want to love her, the way she deserves.

"I'm trying you know? I won't stop trying, Raya. You deserve the best of me, not just what's left of me."

Sierra has sabotaged him to the point of getting arrested multiple times, and every single time, he had her released and all charges dropped before any of us could even act. Xavier Kingston is madly in love with my sister, and I'm not sure he even realizes it.

Zane pushes his brothers aside and walks up to me, Celeste trailing just behind him. "Don't worry," he says, his tone placating. "We'll return each tear you shed a thousandfold. Touching a Windsor has consequences, and this fucker is about to find out what they are."

"Marriage isn't a box you get to check. Your status as my daughter's husband is something you have to earn, every single day. It isn't a position you can take for granted, Lexington."

"I love you, Raya. More than anything - more than flying, more than breathing. I love you with every fiber of my being, with all I am, all I'll ever be."

"Lex?" Raya says, offering me her hand. "Now that the announcement is over, we'd better go and open the dance floor. Will you dance with me?"
I grin, as I entwine our fingers. "With you? Always."

Lex and Raya were such a cute read. Very different from the other books as I feel like Lex had more direction from watching his brothers and learning from his mistakes. He still had his traumas but he was always open to working them out. The family dynamic is so fun to watch and seeing how close knit they all are. This series has been such a pleasure to read and a fav for sure. Cannot wait to read Sierra and Xavier!!

I don't know what to say... I loved it utill the conflict happened tbh. I just can't stop thinking that he
Spoilerpulled a gun at her
He didn't even question her or his sister or even himself, he just jumped straight into conclusion and he was wrong .
He called her a
Spoiler fucking bitch
. What the hell???

I understand Lex went through something traumatic but it's been years, he should've gone to therapy years and years ago.
He didn't grovel enough. I don't think I would've forgiven him. Idk how Celeste could tell him he was the man Raya deserved.

Oh and I didn't like the way Sierra and the girls handled the situation when
SpoilerRaya saw the picture
. Why not say "oh she's was his ex gf and did something bad but we can't tell you more bc we wanna respect him so you should ask him"???? Much better, I'd say.

I don't know... I just wanted something better for them and that conflict was not what I expected, in a bad way. I wished for Catharina to write something else because that made me hate Lex, it just didn't make sense!

Also, Raya was way too nice, in the beginning but also in the end. He always lied or omitted the truth (like for the
Spoilerhouse and the secret rooms, tunnels and the ring!

I wish I could give more because I liked it apart from the conflict, hence my 2.85/3 stars.
Maybe in the future I'll change my mind but for the moment I can't give more.

Lex owns my heart

There were times that this was a bit boring but I really liked what happened towards the end (should have been a bit sooner in my opinion)
