The Secret Fiance is a fun arranged marriage billionaire romance book. As the fifth story in The Windors series, we’ve gotten to know quite a bit about the Windor family. The men are determined to make sure Lex doesnt mess up-too late. The women are ready to welcome another female to the family-they do. This couple was incredibly smart, bonding over robotics(both their families own a car manufacturing company) but lacked in the emotional intelligence department. Raya was a better communicator overall, but was still quite guarded.
It couldn’t be a possessive alpha hero story without a little stalking and manipulation. AKA, Lex finds out who he’s to wed and stages a run in. Turns out, she’s kind of perfect for him. Because she’s looking for true love and knows he’s kind of an emotional statue of a man, she walks away after their fun night of drinks, dancing, and truth and dare. How dare a woman walk away from from. Especially a woman who he’s genuinely interested in. So what does he do? He calls in a favor and becomes her professor.
As one can imagine the story continues to get messy and there are too many secrets to count. Overall this was a fun “my wife” story and I really enjoy the writing style. I have a feeling the next book in the series is going to be my favorite.
