My desi heart is satisfied.
Now let me tell you why i could overlook my problems with this book and give it 5 stars
- Lexington Windsor
- HE CALLS HER DARLING
- He wears glasses!
- He's the Windsor family's Tony Stark! (You can't look at his abundant robots and tell me he isn't)
- That dirty dancing lift
- He made a car FOR HER that has a feature that, when initiated, drives her to him wherever he is
- His grand gestures to her >>>
- He learned to make lamb briyani for her!
- He learned the infamous tongue twister from Khabi Khushi Kabhi Gham for her
- He wanted to earn her parents' approval
- He respected her parents
- That Desi wedding (got to see Lex in a Kurta)
- Catharina managed to fuse three different tropes into one (professor/student, workplace, and arranged marriage)
- and last but not least...Lex Windsor's dirty mouth.
I was hella confused what to rate this book while reading it but the points mentioned above made me overlook everything else.
Because it's only fair that I tell you the little things I kinda didn't like... it was a little too cheesy. Like some of the dialogue really made me want to throw myself of a tall building. And the sexy scenes were hot but became so repetitive especially in terms of the dirty talk. I was bored of it after a few. And also I think Raya forgave him wayyy to quickly after what he did
But im putting 5 stars simply because of how I was simping and the fact that I got emotional. Cause if a book can make me tear up it means it successfully got me attached to the characters enough to experience the emotions.

Now that all of the brothers are married, I guess the series is complete! (There may be one coming out about the crazy sister, but it isn’t out yet). Overall it was a good series. Super sweet obsessed over their arranged marriage wives. While I love possessive obsessed men, the speed in which they all fell for their brides (that were hand picked by their grandmother) felt a bit much. “My wife” was overused in each of the books. And in this last one “my little fairy” was cringy and made my eyes roll. Another book used the term but it made a little more sense (tiny woman named Faye). This one, the first time they met she was dressed as a fairy. Nothing else throughout the book would give off fairy vibes, so didn’t live that nickname for her.
What I did like about this one was the multicultural aspect. Lex learning about Raya’s culture and trying to incorporate it into their home was touching. And I got a kick out of his Tony Stark vibes. Tech genius who has everything automated down to a daddy robot who runs the house.
