As for the book itself: No fear Shakespeare is quite useful . One side has original text and the other translated. So you can read the beautiful text and understand it.
As for the rest:
This was marvelous. Hamlet is clearly mentally unstable and it truly gives him a lot of character. He is often idealized though I don’t think he should be. Hamlet though witty,is also very violent and irrational. Often those two are mixed which has resulted in 3 people being killed by him. Hamlet is an ass and there is no denying that but I still like his character. He has flaws and that’s what makes his character realistic and enjoyable.
The characters were very well written , they each have a distinct personality. And the plot was pretty fast paced especially with people dying left and right.
This is my second Shakespeare play to have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely be getting others to read. I’m even considering getting a quote tattooed. This is my favorite Shakespeare yet, better than Romeo and Juliet in my honest opinion
