I devoured this book in one sitting as I believe it was intended to be read, or at least that is how it felt to me. I loved it and look forward to reading more of her books.

This book is like Pensées, but way less smug, and hissed in your ear by a drunk stranger you’ll probably fuck later while at the leftover guest table of a mutual acquaintance’s wedding, who neither of you actually like and whose taste in decoration is expensive and entirely unoriginal.

An underwhelming mix of thoughts that has left me with no real desire to write an intelligent or witty review based off the 10% of this book that I liked.

Loved this. I love aphorisms and these were different, many about shame and sex and love.
