This book was well written, but ultimately bored me to where I struggled to finish it. Aside from the protagonist, there was little to no character development. The plot felt cliched and unfinished, taking parts of other (mostly Steven King) stories but not connecting them into a cohesive narrative.

If the plot of IT took place in Appalachia. A good solid book. I did have a more difficult time getting absorbed into the book because the plot and tropes used are already well (ha) trodden down.
