Book 2 in the Assistant to the Villain series was another fun, cozy fantasy read. These books are over the top, and feel a bit like a fairy tale. There’s romance, magic, dragons, and a frog that talks with cards. For whatever reason, the narration on this book was better than Book 1, even though it’s the same narrator. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
