The writing is good, its a new spin on a fairy tale world. I just feel like I still don't know what is going on and why there is magical sickness and stuff. I do like Evie and her development. Liked getting to know Becky in this book.

Its always weird to be cheering for the "villains". Though you can tell that the true villain is the "good side" The King. He's gross. I like the villain but he's so torn all the time that its getting annoying.

I'm sure there are others who would LOVE this. Its just probably not my cuppa. But I'll probably finish the series when the next book come out.
