Better than the first one. The plot is good. Last book I was thinking that there could not be more slow burn but oh my oh my oh my, I LOVE IT. The yearning, the angst, the bickering, that’s my thing.

Also, great choice to add more character’s POV. Made great additions to the story in general. I’d love to read more about this characters.

Still the author keeps certain jokes unnecessary. Also, I think she tries to do Evie too independent to a point where a traumatic event doesn’t stop her to make an entrance with a SASSY DIALOGUE !!! I think she could do the action part without the extra because for my it feels like she tries to be a white men with huge ego 😭.
