I loved how queer this book was, not just gay but truly queer and that was awesome to read in a sports romance. The exploration of anxiety, addition, and sexual intimacy was so well done!

I didn't expect to be so invested in this world building of a hockey romance series, but I'm eagerly awaiting for everyone to find out about Ilya and Shane.

That being said, the MCs were both great. Ryan, my anxious, burly bear - I have never related with a hockey player more. And the way Fabian approached Ryan’s anxiety and low self-confidence was lovely. It’s a very sweet story.

I loved this book. It’s heavier than the first two in the series but was so lovely. Price is an “enforcer” on the Toronto Hockey team. Fabian is a musician. This is a second chance romance. Price and Fabian liked each other as teenagers but never acted on their feelings. They meet back up in the village in Toronto.
The main conflict of this book is Price dealing with his anxiety and panic attacks. So it is a bit of a challenge to read at times, but I thought beautifully done.
Notes: takes place in Toronto, Canada. Price is a white redhead. Fabian a Canadian of Lebanese descent.

Also great! Hockey romance about an enforcer! I've never read that before and I loved to see some of the complicated feelings that come with that role explored.
It did drag on a little to me and the relationship dynamic wasn't really my thing so not 4 stars but still fun!
