Somehow I loved it even more the second time around, Ryan Price deserves the world.

Even though I knew what happened, I still found myself feeling so heartbroken reading some parts of the story and absolutely giddy on others. I loved how their relationship developed and their romance was just

okay i really liked this! i think it was great to see two characters who really tried to understand each other and listen to each other. also the anxiety rep was so relatable and genuinely good rep imo (as someone w gen and social anxiety)

Okay so! This was, as with the other three Game Changers books I've read, VERY hot and also very tender. I really appreciated the frank discussion of mental health in this book, as we also saw in The Long Game, but man was the ending like... VERY sudden.

I'm not sure why this book was a good 50 e-pages, if not more, shorter than other books in the series, because it really could've used those 50 extra pages to breathe. The Fabian-Ryan conflict comes to a head RIGHT at the end of the book, and then it's near-immediately resolved because of two very big Deus Ex Machinae (a suicide and a surprise Ilya appearance, which, iconic and appreciated but also kind of puzzling). I remember Game Changer seeming to resolve SLIGHTLY quickly, but truly the pacing of the last 10% of this book was wild.

Curious to see how the last two main books in the series pan out, but this was above all an enjoyable read because Reid really knows what she's doing.

Loved Ryan, but he deserved better than Fabian. The highlight for me was the friendship between Ryan and Wyatt!
