Pretty good. Didn’t have the narration problem that the first one had. I loved the first ⅔ but the third act drama wasn’t my favorite. I was glad for Ryan’s journey with hockey (and knew what his journey would lead to, because of The Long Game), but I wasn’t thrilled with how Fabian handled the situation.

WOW! That was amazing!

This book made me so happy. One of my top reads of the year. I couldn’t put it down. I love the characters so much. Their romance is fantastic. I want to hug both of them because they’re both so amazing and sweet.

Ryan is a giant hockey player enforcer but it really a cinnamon roll teddy bear who suffers from severe anxiety. Fabian is a musician who enjoys being pretty — wearing eyeshadow, lacey clothes, the works. The description is kind of misleading, as it’s more of a “second chance after a missed opportunity” book. They both like each other right from the start and things move pretty quickly — and given their history and compatibility, it feels perfect.

I adore this book. You can read it as a stand alone. It’s so, so good!

《Tough Guy》by Rachel Reid
因为在《long game》里,Ilya&Shane伉俪和Ryan&Fabian伉俪double date,就把《Tough Guy》补了。
