Another classic “everyone gets stranded on an island and all h*ll breaks loose” book. But with all female characters. So… it’s drama and chaos the whole time. The characters were quite literally my age, so I understood things on a whole other level than some other books - finishing high school in the early 2010s and then transitioning into adulthood in the years to follow (I mean, the dates were so similar, I was shook). There were also some interesting writing formats - some of the decisions made sense, but others I’m still trying to figure out after finishing it.

A lot of the content broke my heart though - girls can be so mean, and they think nothing of it. While I’m thankful the author didn’t shy away from the bullying and suicide, it’s also just… so hard and heavy. It was a good read, but fair warning before you read it- you will have to face characters who are bullies and have little remorse for their bullying.

“Those b*tches might have started it, but I sure as hell finished it”. Wooooweee. The bullying was really hard to read, but I loved the cattiness and how everyone is just so unlikeable haha. Great book if you want to read about revenge

dark mysterious tense

Story was lacking a little, but it was still fun and very twisty. It did feel very YA though. Quick summer read.
