I guessed the big plot twist very early on. The characters were so unrelatable and unlikable. I was interested enough to find out how it ended that I kept reading but this book just wasn’t for me.

Five characters made it hard to follow. I figured out the story early. I didn’t bond with any of the characters. I failed to see the hype.
I pick this book specifically for the revenge vibes I got from the blurb and I did really enjoy that aspect of the book.
The 'twist' was obvious to me rather fast and I wish it had just been a part of the story from the beginning instead of being set up the way it was because it was good! It just didn't surprise me at any point. Despite that, I really enjoyed the plot.
My biggest issue was the characters. All but one of them kind of blended together and didn't feel unique enough from each other.
To me, it seemed to be set up for a squeal and if one did come out I absolutely would read it.

This would be a great book to read on the beach! It's a great thriller full of revenge and dead bodies. This book was full of twist and I wasn't sure until the end who the killer was.
