I didn’t see the twist coming but seeing as right at the start you are aware the murders are going to happen, they seemed to take place too late on in the book.

This one is hard to rate!

Was it a wild ride? Yes
Did it shock me? Yes

The whole time I was reading this book, I was waiting for it to be over. Not only are very single one of the characters very unlikable, they are so unlikeable that there is no way they could redeem themselves.

The story drags, it’s predictable and the ending is unsatisfying.

Fast paced thriller. Fun and psychotic (can a book be both?). The middle dragged a bit and towards the end I was just ready to find out who did it. I still recommend.

I LOVED this book! Twisted, authentic and harrowing. The story of a mistreated girl now getting her due as an adult is a fascinating topic for me. Gilbert's writing is fresh, accessible and very entertaining! This is exactly the kind of thriller I love recommending to my patrons and my friends. More from this author please!

The last line of the book is the only thing that made up for the absolute chaos of this book. I was annoyed and upset the entire time reading the book, which I do not enjoy. I understand the point of making the reader feel like this, but it was just too much.
