I should have DNF’d this but I’m not a quitter. I was so excited for this release and it turned out to be such a flop. The plot is so childish and this was not written well. There were only five characters yet I struggled to be able to differentiate between most of them. I didn’t even care about the twist at the end because I was so desperate to be done. And the fact that the book ended on two cliffhangers is straight annoying.

I hated the mean girl characters in this book. They reminded me so much of the bullies in school. Those who did stuff just because they could. However, the mind games Poppy played on them gave me a small smile. The ending left me undecided. Still not sure if I liked the ending or not. Could definitely have a sequel to this one.

A fun, twisty, and quick read about childhood friends who reunite for an all expenses paid hen (bachelorette) party on a private island. But things turn quick when the past comes up. Everything isn’t quite as it seems and revenge is the next meal to be served. Lots of interesting characters, some not so likable. Touchy subjects and twisty (ie Glass Onion twisty) subject lines.

BOTM usually doesn’t disappoint me but this one…ugh. It felt like it was never ending and when it finally started to pick up it also became incredibly predictable. I think the most interesting part was the last 45 pages but they just left me with more questions than answers.

I was reallllllly not expecting this one to break me a little bit, but here we are. Every single chapter of Poppy's diary made me cry. I'm honestly still kind of emotional as I'm writing this review.

I figured out what was going on very early on in the book, but it still kept me hooked. I loved the ending and I'm realllly hoping there's a sequel!
SpoilerOnly if Wendy wins though. If Annabel gets the last laugh, I don't want a sequel.
