Nice world building and a very nice inclusion of Binti struggling with what she went through in the first story. I'm not entirely sure why it ended where it did. This and the third book feel like one story when combined.

The world building is spectacular, and Binti is a fantastic character (although she feels so young, much younger than 18 to me. But she wouldn't be the first math genius that felt so immature, so there is that). The plot meanders somewhat, but ends in a satisfying way.
