I enjoyed Pooh and his stories as a child. I remember my parents reading them to me. I think the imagination of Christopher Robin and his stuffed friends and their adventures in The Hundred Acre Wood are relatable to any child who plays with their stuffed animals as if they are real/alive. I however did not particularly enjoy reading these stories aloud to my child. The animals do a lot of interrupting each other while speaking and spell words incorrectly on signs and notes. I found that my 5 year old was often confused by what they were talking about and I’d have to summarize it plainly. Still giving it a three stars because the stories were fun. I just didn’t care for the writing style as a read aloud.

I will never forgive Walt Disney for changing Eeyore from a sarcastic funny character to a depressive character
