I had my doubts about this run of Moon Knight. I’ve never really clicked with Lemire’s storytelling, and the previous volume had some very big shoes to fill both storywise and artistically. But, wow, Lemire’s take on Moon Knight might be my favorite thing I’m reading right now, as far as monthly series go, and every issue has absolutely blown me away. The storytelling is tight as it explores everything from wars between the gods to outer space to Marc Spector’s own fractured mind, and Greg Smallwood’s art and layouts are phenomenal. Given how this installment ends, I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here.

Está bueno pero quizás necesito leer el resto de la historia para que realmente me guste. El arte es hermoso.

3.5 stars. While the art, colour work and panelling was a solid 5 out of 5 stars, the story was pretty thin here and didn't have much of an effect on me. I enjoyed the first few issues the most, even if I feel like those kinds of scenes have been portrayed many times before and since. The dialogue also seemed very out of sync with the overall tone of the comic at times; the 'Let's rock' and 'They deserve to get punched!' lines had me rolling my eyes into the back of my head. In the end, I'll be keeping this volume purely for the stunning and expertly executed visual storytelling from Smallwood and Bellaire, but I don't feel compelled to continue on with Lemire's writing.

Eh, it was interesting enough, but not something I would be in a hurry to read more of.
