I thought Ryder was the perfect heroine. Despite the fact that she couldn't touch men without consequences, she was smart, funny, and had a positive attitude and I liked her immediately. I thought her relationship with Hugh was perfect and I enjoyed this story! Highly Recommended!

It took a while to get going for me but I did enjoy it. I'd like to see more- we got introduced to some really funny characters in this book.

While I do enjoy this series it bugs me how everything seems to revolve around virginity and none of the characters seem to have sex for the first time just because they want to, there's always some magical thing affecting whether or not they should sleep with someone. The sex in this series does seem a bit off in general there's a bit in this book where one of the characters is trying to pressure the other into having sex and basically saying "your future mate will want you to have experience, you don't want to disappoint them do you? You should have sex with me." yes I've taken it out of context but that's still wrong.

Though this is the 4th and final novel (there a a couple of novella’s too) in this series they can each be read stand alone.
In Wanted: Wild Thing we finally get the answer to what kind of shifter Ryder is. Ryder is the flirty, sweet, quirky supposed human who works for Midnight Liaisons a dating service for the local paranormal population. She helps others find their mates but she has yet to find hers. She has a problem in that whenever she touches a guy she is sexually attracted to her shifter side comes to the fore. She has no love for her shifter side. She thinks it is ugly and will frighten off anyone who might come to love her. When she meets Hugh she has reason not to like him but he may be fierce enough to handle her shifter side but at what cost.
I really got a kick out of this series and am saddened that it is ending. This is a check your brain at the door and enjoy the escape type series. This book was a bit more serious than the others but in the end just as enjoyable.

I didn't quite understand how the paranormal creatures in this book fit into the rest of the series. And there were just a few too many things that didn't add up for me.

In Wanted: Wild Thing we have a story that continues the series of Midnight Liasons. Now this is a series I fell in love with years ago when the first book came out and I love each story of this series and Jessica Sims AKA Jessica Clare and Jill Myles. Jessica Sims is her PNR name and I love how fresh these books are. Each story we see more into this fabulous series and in Wanted: Wild Thing we see something new happen. We have a new set of paranormal creatures come into play here, ones we haven’t seen yet. Our heroine, is a “changeling” she works at the Midnight Liasons setting up matches between paranormal creatures such as vampires, sirens, and shifters. But she has a secret she has kept from her closest friends, she is a changeling–she is coming upon her 25th birthday, she is still a virgin and not because she wants it. Whenever she gets aroused, her beast from within comes out to play. But she was told from a seer that if she can find her true mate, she won’t transform and once she loses her virginity she can be her normal self. But then a Fae comes in claiming she is his “pet” to do with as he wishes. He brings her a bodyguard, and within a month her transformation will be complete but her bodyguard has to stay by her side at all time. This put a serious kink into her plans. Then we have our hero, Hugh. A big hunky male that is all toughness and muscles. He has never been in the human world before, his kind lives in a fae realm. He has never been around women, and is out of his element when it comes to flirty females.

Now this was a story that was so entertaining. I was able to snatch it up from my library’s audiobook system: Hoopla. I want to talk about the narration for a bit. Now I think in the past I have been extremely lucky to have found narrators that I instantly fell in love with. But I will be honest this narrator threw me off for a bit and I had trouble at first adjusting. But eventually she grew on me. I think the southern accent is what threw me off. But after a little while, I grew accustomed to it. What is most fun about this story was seeing the conflict between these two. I loved that they were both virgins (that hardly EVER happens in romances especially in paranormals and contemporary type settings!!) And boy did I love that aspect. Because its orginial and felt fresh and new. This really adds something different to the story because we see how these two really struggle with the chemistry they feel for each other. We see both sides on the conflict. Because Rhyder, wants to be free of her creature, she doesn’t want to be a kept pet by the fae and be breeded all of her existence. She wants love and freedom. The only way to have that is to have sex and there is only one person that has seen her true form and accepted her fully. The only problem is he can’t touch her. The fae has promised that if Rhyder comes into full bloom of her changeling form, than Hugh and his primordial’s (all 24) will be given their mates. None of them have ever known family, love or passion. They just know stark loneliness and living a empty life. He is the leader of must think of his people first.

What was most heartbreaking was seeing these two together and how much they truly cared about one another but both were in a tough spot. This conflict is what drives the story and I couldn’t help but fall in love with every aspect of this story. I love the way these two are with each other. Having both of them as virgins, is something that I loved the most about this book. I like that they learn each other on the same level, both have zero experience but they both are passionate and it was quite fun to see the way they come together. This is a PNR that is sweet, fun and highly entertaining. Packed with emotional depth, endearing characters, and a story line to keep you going. Nothing held back in Wanted: Wild Thing. I am eager to see if Sims does more with these Primordial males because dang they sure are sexy and I want more of them.

Please note; my star rating on any book is completely subjective and limited to the label for each star.

1 Star I didn’t like it
2 Stars It was okay
3 Stars I liked it
4 Stars I really liked it
5 Stars It was amazing!

If I do actually have something to say about a book other than what my enjoyment factor was, I will write a review and share my thoughts. If I say I didn’t like a book but there wasn’t anything that about it that I thought needed to be shared particularly, then that’s it, I just didn’t like it.

If you’d like to start a discussion about a book or you’d like an actual review, ask any question you like and I’ll be happy to try and comply/respond.

Additional note; I do not feed the trolls. If you don’t have something constructive to say, or if you can’t say it in a respectful way, you won’t get a response from me. Ever.
