I enjoyed this! The plot isn’t quite as enthralling as to make me immediately pick up the next volume, but I am interested in their stories enough to continue with the series.

I thought this was a strong second volume. Along with Ryo's continued struggles with whether and how they can be who they truly are, this volume laces in messages about doing what needs to be done to support yourself financially while also pursuing your dreams. I liked seeing how various people in Ryo's life encourage him to follow his passion. I also found his struggles in this volume really compelling, and it made me think a lot about how painful it must be to know who you are but to constantly be bombarded with people misunderstanding you because of their own preconceived notions about your gender identity. I think this series does a lot to explore societal expectations centered around a very binary view of gender, making it obvious not only how limiting but how painful those expectations can be to people for a variety of reasons.
One thing I would like to see more of from the series is a deeper exploration of Jin. It hints at things, but I'd like to know more about what makes him tick. I'm also on the fence about both Mizuki and Tsubasa, both of whom I think may be pushing Ryo outside of his comfort zone in ways that aren't constructive and may actually be destructive--I'm looking at you in particular, here, Tsubasa!

I love this series already, it's probably my favorite manga I've read (might be a bit bias). As a trans boy it's a must read. I think this volume did a really good job at living up to the brilliant first volume.
The mix of gender issues and teen issues make the story valuable, not just to the trans community but young adults in general. There's already some good stuff about finding joy and friendship.
New characters are introduced too, they do a good job at adding to the story and Ryo's arc but they cause my one nitpick. The rest of the boys run the riot group don't get enough screentime, except for in the begining. It's kinda sad because they had a nice friendship, but instead we do get to see Ryo make more friends.
I did like how the volume isn't just about the brand, which I found to be a problem in the first. It seemed to overshadow the trans themes. I think the only problem with the manga as a whole is had a good setup in the first half but then switches the focus to something else. However I do think it's small, and doesn't hinder the enjoyment, as I still love this comic.
The art is still great and Ryo is one of my favorite manga characters!
