Not quite as good as her others, but it was still well worth the wait. I actually cannot wait to read her next one!

Unique plot, the characters aren't super annoying and each has something interesting to add to the story and romantic dynamic.

I love JQ books but this one is tedious and boring.

I needed a palate cleanser after attempting Atlas Six. This wasn’t quite it but I did make it though. I read this a long time ago and probably enjoyed. Listened to the audio version this time and it lessened my enjoyment by a star. Also, instalove, blech. You don’t even know her like that.

Julia Quinn is perfect. As always.

I've read some crappy romance novels, and as far as things go, this tends towards the "pretty bad" end of the spectrum. When you're qualifying your review with "well, at least there's no rape," you're setting the bar awfully low.
slow-paced

I don't mean to hate on an early entry from a successful author, but this one was a slog. Just very basic in a dull way. Jack is almost fun, but all the characters are pretty weak.
