Not my favourite in the series but still really enjoyed it! Very complex FMC, broke my heart tbh….

Cash was so hot and the spice did not disappoint

THIS WAS SO GOOD OMG. I loooooved seeing things from Ariana and Cash’s POV especially events that had happened to their siblings in other books. Hope to see more of them soon!!

First off: I binge every book Sav's written because once I pick it up, I HAVE to know what's going to happen. It never turns out as expected and that is a beautiful, beautiful thing. I will EAT these books up until the end of time.

Second: I absolutely LIVE for unhinged men and "WHERE'S MY WIFE!"

Peace and blessings to me because Cash bursting into the holding cell to retrieve Ariana had me SHAKING in my kneecaps ok!!! We love a crazy ass like Cash Primrose. *Sings in Britney* "Gimme Gimme More...."

Also, forced marriage? HOLLER AT YA GIRL OKAY?! One of my favorite tropes of all time and Sav (not a shocker), knocks the one out of the ballpark. I love me some good "hot/cold" action in dynamic, and these two... portrayed that so perfectly.

I loved everything about this read. Arianna is one badass chick that has such a traumatic past, but through that and her resilience, I'm glad she found happiness with Cash.

good but had a lot to live up to

Arianna was never her mother’s favorite daughter, getting the brunt of the abuse and venom her mother spewed while growing up. Now that all the hopes her parents placed on her older sister fell through and onto her, Arianna needs to find a way to escape the life sentence they’ve dealt her. Cash prioritizes work over relationships, striving to be a better man than his father, in life and in business. They need each other to achieve their goals but they might just find more depth in their fake relationship than they expected.

This was book five in the series and it was good but personally I’d say books three and four were my favorite with Lenny and Jonas being my favorite couple overall. Unfortunately this book also had both main characters as siblings of already established characters which meant they had to step out from their shadows and try to outshine their siblings to standout. I absolutely loved Lenny so I already knew that wouldn’t happen for Cash. Arianna had a good chance, I know Kal and Elena are the OGs but they weren’t my favorites. However, Arianna was a good character but I never really felt connected to her. I think that’s how I felt about both of them which is why it was good but not great.

The plot was pretty good, it was interesting to get a male virgin main character and it was written well with a good explanation. Both characters were not what I was expecting and the spicy scenes that do happen were great, I just don’t think it was better than the other books in this series. A lot of the plot was already set up for them from previous books in the series but it was a weird dynamic for them to be related to previous characters yet seem so far removed from them at the same time.

This is Arianna and Cash's story. A very refreshing story where we get a virgin H, an arranged marriage, with mafia tropes. Definitely worth reading. I enjoyed the whole book, the characters are fantastic, and I really liked Arianna, but I loved Cash more, his possessiveness and the way he treated Arianna was swoony.

The characters were written beautifully throughout this with so many layers and complexities. Ariana was a really interesting character to follow along with. I enjoyed how her marriage with Cash became real. It wasn't forced or too quick. The slow burn of it all was quite delicious and the end result was worth the wait. As usual with Sav, the smut was good, and the voyeurism was fun. Sav's writing is really just lyrical and poetic. It's complex and beautiful which really made for a good novel.

I do recommend reading the other books in the series, but it isn't necessary to understand this one.
