Sav R. Miller is an author I just download her book as soon as it drops. Her writing style is one I really like, the point of view is really well done. I think this book is my favorite so far!! I really related to the FMC and felt a little called out. I have been waiting for Ariana's story for awhile! I love her pairing and am really pleased with how the story developed. There is depth to the characters and the relationships they have with each other. I love the relationship between Ariana and her sister. I feel like the book was a little less dramatic than before but hit was still really well written and engaging to read.

Man, do I love this series and the characters. I have a hard time picking my favorite couple. Though I love that we get to see glimpses of past characters in the new books.
My heart aches for what Ariana went through as a child. Glad she was able to get some payback (same with Kal). So happy she was truly loved by Cash- she definitely deserves it.
Cash- what a hunk, especially with those glasses. I loved the twists and turns this book took us on.
I loved the dual POV and being able to see what each character is thinking.

Hmmmmmm I don’t know how to feel about this book tbh. Some parts were difficult to read. Other parts were too slow, others too rushed. Idk.

Cash is a lawyer who wants nothing more than to absorb the Ricci empire into his own, and for some strange reason from the moment he lays eyes on Ariana she’s the only thing he’s ever wanted. Cash doesn’t date, he doesn’t do relationships, but he finds himself completely obsessed with Ariana. He does the most out of character thing that surprises even himself, he buys her, He reasons that its just to get her family business... but theres a sudden want to give her everything she wants, to protect her from anyone who would harm her both emotionally or physically, and to kill anyone who even touches her. Cash may be a lawyer but he’s willing to do anything for Ariana, and yet Ariana herself is after revenge, she wants to take back what was taken from her, she wants to finally find some semblance of freedom. Both Ariana and Cash are playing a twisted game of want and touch, they’re both hurt and are both monsters within their own right but maybe together they can begin to heal and be exactly what the other needs. This is the fifth book in the series, and I had fun getting to know Cash and Ariana, and oh boy did Ariana have demons in her life. I was so happy she got her own happy ending and that everything worked out for her in the end!
