Ok so this was pretty enjoyable until it wasn’t - the end was a bit much and the way pip was complaining like a little brat was annoyiiiiinnnggg. She might as well have been stamping her feet and throwing a fit - it’s a good way of reaching my reading goal by the end of the year.
There were some pretty good moments that did genuinely shock me, but overall it was a mid murder mystery - especially because there was a whole lot of info dumping at the end.
But being reunited with my favourite audiobook narrator was great 🫶

i’m going to cryyyyyyyy. when i started reading this series i thought it’d just be a fun little mystery thriller book, but months later i’m still not over it. holly jackson has the most addictive writing i’ve ever read - this book is about a fun little murder mystery night and we know nothing bad is going to happen - but she still manages to make my heart skip a beat in every chapter with her writing ?! and she made me tear up, scream, kick my feet with the ending of this. i love pippa

once again, holly jackson DELIVERS. i loved the premise of a murder mystery party and i loved re-visiting the town of little kilton with all our favourite characters. i honestly think holly might be one of the best writers of our century because of the consistency in how well she writes. pip's theory was too good & i loved the little ravi cameo at the end! secretly hoping against all hope for another aggtm book soon
