Still somewhat early days for predicting processing theories, so it’s forgivable that the case is wildly overstated and fails to account for objections (predictive processing as overlaying more bottom up processing, issues w/ placebo research like reversion to the mean, etc) - the book itself can be a little repetitive but Clark is largely a fun writer and a very interesting thinker.

Fascinating and well -researched, but a little dry. Gave me so much to think about.

The stuff about brains was super interesting but at times there was some excessive techno optimism mixed in and he overstated how novel some of these theories are.

I tried to listen to it as my “information audiobook” while i drive to and from work. I kept zoning out and had to keep rewinding so maybe the book was too complicated for my “on my way to work” mindframe
