A must-read for anyone seeking information about communism.

This is a cornerstone work of leftist theory, and I am so glad that I've finally read it. It is a very short work that is pretty direct in terms of its message. It was significantly less technical than I expected, but I understand that that's because it was originally written to spread the communist ideology and less to detail how to achieve it because there are myriad forms based on a people's needs. Moreover, this message was primarily spread through skilled orators in the nineteenth century due to low literacy rates (don't forget about the rapid increase in literacy rates that is a byproduct of communism). I don't have a ton to say about this work because it's short, clear, and there's not a lot to artistically assess because it's theory. I recommend reading this work to gain a better introductory understanding of the goal of communism.
