This was a super sweet story, where our fmc nurses out mmc back to health after he was hurt during battle. I loved the language barrier and the way Blizzek at first reluctantly taught her his language, but then found her endearing for caring enough to try. The spicy scenes were both blazing hot and funny.

just everything about their semi-slow burn romance was so cozy. which is why I was so dang angry when there was a

My reading slump is officially defeated and I owe it all to these monster romance books. Plot was much better in this one, although the pacing was still incredibly fast.
