whilst this isn't the worst book I've ever read, it also wasn't great.

DID NOT FINISH: 39%

This review is for the audiobook version (ALC) of "Live, Ranch, Love" written by Emma Lucy.

I reached 39% of the way through this title and decided to DNF. I did not resonate with the narrators at all. I do, however, feel that this story is worth finishing and that I would just rather read the ebook version or the physical copy instead.

My gratitude to HarperAudio and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to listen to the ALC edition of this book. I will seek another version when it is released.

No matter the time of the year, I love me a cowboy romance. I'm swooning over cowboys and I won't stop anytime soon. Yeehaw

Is there anything better than a series of connected small-town cowboy romances? I think not! Aurora and Wyatt were an amazing first couple in the Willow Ridge series, and it set the scene so well for future books! The side characters are all interesting and I can't wait for their stories.

Live, Ranch, Love was comforting and fun, with the perfect balance of sweet and spice! I completely binged it and am so excited for the sequels!

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley, but this is my voluntary and honest review.

"The moment you set foot on Sunset Ranch, I started seeing in colours I'd never experienced before. You showed me how to let the light into my world, to start dreaming beyond the greys my life had been painted with. You showed me that I was worthy of having what I wanted, that I was worthy of being wanted. You showed me what love should be like."

This was a cute & fun Cowboy Romance! I loved how Rory the British health and wellness influencer was complete and total sunshine. And she just knocked Wyatt right on his grumpy behind. They embodied this trope perfectly!

I enjoyed watching them forge a friendship to help save the ranch, and as more time passes start to fall into a relationship. The spice was spicinnnn, and I feel like they both learned things about themselves, and healed parts of each other by coming together.

And safe to say I’ll be dreaming of visiting Sunset Ranch!

It was a cute romance, a grumpy cowboy and a small town romance will always draw me in.

Rory is a wellness and positivity influencer, who after being cheated on decides to escape to Colorado, to a ranch her late great-aunt left her. Struggling to find her inspiration, she thinks being on the ranch and fixing it up to sell, will help her find it again. What she doesn't expect is to butt heads with the head rancher, who doesn't exactly like her. Wyatt loves the ranch and struggles with the thought of having to leave.
But they will discover they have more in common than they thought when Rory comes up with a plan that will give both of them what they want. A plan that will have them working together, which will make it hard for them to deny their attraction for long.

While I did find the romance amazing at times, I also found it lacking. I wish we got more banter, their dislike of each other seemed to fizzle out far too quickly and their connection did seem forced at times.
That conflict at the end was honestly too much and completely unnecessary, it took away from the story. I really don't understand why authors do this, it ruins the story when they introduce drama just for the sake of it.

I also didn't expect so much motivational speaking and quotes, I didn't really like that, but that's a me problem.

All in all, I genuinely liked the small town vibe and Wyatt's friends and sister. I'm really looking forward to reading their stories, especially if Cherry is going to end up with who I think she will. Can't wait to find out..

*Thank you to Netgalley and to HarperCollins UK for providing me with an ARC.*

Broken roads lead the best places

What do you do when you, a positivity & wellness influencer, walk in on your boyfriend cheating on you after your favorite aunt's memorial? You run away to find yourself at your aunt's ranch that she left you.

Oh I loved this so much! The broken roads, learning to believe in yourself again, learning to lean on others around you when you need to, and learning that sometimes you have to level up for the next step in your life. Aurora is so good at inspiring people in the book, YOU will finish this book feeling better about yourself and your journey.
