Michael Austin recommended this poetry collection to me. The sensuality of some of the poems surprised me like in "Python killed to save woman". Some of the nature poems bored me (sorry!). I laughed out loud at "To a pill on the carpet" where she imagines a femme fatale with a secret skin condition or thyroid disorder. "Does the drug edit her home movie to DIsney instead of Hitchcock?" hilarious. "Blessing the baby" was a beautiful combination of mundane with spiritual.
