I shouldn't dare to disdain the oeuvre of Wodehouse, but I am of the opinion that this is one of the weaker in the 'Jeeves and Wooster' series. It seemed to drag a bit in places, but I was cheered by the appearance of Stiffy Byng who I'm sure is a right pip. Alas, the interactions between Jeeves and Wooster are typically what makes these particular tomes hum along and there seemed to be a dearth of these episodes. However, it was still typical Wodehouse, and therefore enjoyable, if not his finest.
