Wodehouse is one of the only authors that makes me laugh out loud! Great stuff, what!

After reading three 'Bertie Wooster' novels, l couldn't help but wonder : was there any marriage in Britain in the 1930s that Bertie and Jeeves weren't involved in?
The theme is the same in all the books in this series, but the humor is great. It reminds me of 'The Ideal Husband' of Oscar Wilde.
I tremendously enjoyed the first book, but after the third, I'm starting to get a bit weary.
Still, it beats many other books any day

If you haven't read a Jeeves and Wooster book, you should do yourself the pleasure of reading this book.

funny

I read a lot of P.G. Wodehouse this year and they were all great, but this was the funniest.  I love his Bertie + Jeeves books the most.  The plot is convoluted (involving the theft of an antique cow-creamer, romantic entanglements, and a fascist dictator), but at the story's core is the relationship between Bertie and Jeeves.  There are signature themes of absurd social happenstances, friendship, and loyalty.  So well-written and so funny!

Whenever I need cheering up, I turn to Bertie Wooster. Laugh out loud funny, with a good dose of second-hand embarrassment.
