I picked this up from the library.
It's not that bad considering the short length.

I’m just confused. Also half of the book is acc plot meanwhile the other half is just advertising. Bit of a weird story ngl.

Reading Eva’s story was interesting but this was only 40/50 pages long.

Even for a novella this story is short, only 53 pages are actually the story, the rest is previews and adverts. The story ends on a weak cliffhanger and is not really resolved.
I enjoyed Eva's backstory but Dan is very much a side character. It's been a long time since I read the rest of the Noughts and Crosses books, but I remember them, including the other novella, being much better than this.
