Another great addition to The Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series. I really enjoy picking these up every year. I think this is my 3rd Christmas in a row where I’ve been able to read these characters. I just fallen in love with this town all over again. The wonderful thing about cozy mystery is that I don’t really need to remember all that happened in between books. The author also did a great job of reminding us of the important pieces.
I also just found this absolutely hilarious. Especially when they kept referring to the murders as something out of a book. I also liked how the characters just knew what Holly was up to! There were many laugh outloud moments throughout. Also this town is just filled will also sorts of quirky characters. I also love all the fun town things that bring them all together. The Christmas activities are so fun.
I also like that the romance of our main character and the sheriff has progressed. I like how it’s changed from book to book, and we’ve seen them be able to grow together. I love how much he cares for her and all the sweet things he does. I feel like too many cozy mystery shy away from the romance aspect but I love that this one doesn’t!
The mystery aspect was also a lot of fun. I’m terrible at solving these type of things so I was along for the ride with Holly. Though she keeps getting herself in more and more dangerous situations each book.

First, I like to thank the author for an e-copy. The series is the perfect series to put you into the Christmas mood. The crazy shenanigans of the mistletoe town and I absolutely loved it.

Not my favorite of the series. Holly's "meddling" was a little too bull in a china shop which felt rude and invasive and not at all charming. Her "I just can't help myself" attitude got old, especially when EVERYONE is asking her to stop. And with the town being so small, 5 murders with 3 at the tree farm/inn it's shocking the farm is still in business.
This was a cute cozy mystery. Having never read any of her books before I didn’t know what to expect but now I want to read the rest of the books about Mistletoe. This book puts you in a Christmas mood and makes you wish you lived in this small little Victorian town.
