Holly and her close-knit friends and family are back in the next book in the Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series. This is a perfectly cosy series set on a christmas tree farm in the town of Mistletoe, and we return each December just in time for the Christmas preparations and as Holly's luck strikes again and she discovers a body. This time, they're trying to break a world record for the largest gingerbread man and as they unveil the dough in front of the cameras a guest from the inn is discovered dead!
I loved returning to the cosy town of Mistletoe, where I'm sure to get into the cosy mood no matter what the weather is like irl. I like to think of this series as Christmas all wrapped into a book with a bit of murder mystery for some fun, and I have to say this is probably my favourite Christmas series (and I am a Christmas book girlie) both based on vibes but also because Jacqueline Frost is a really good cosy writer!
This could be read standalone, but I recommend reading in order as there are continuing relationships that may be a bit confusing if you haven't read the others.
Highly recommend if you want a festive cosy mystery ❄️⛄️🎄

We are so back! This book was so much better than the last one and it made me feel all the warm fuzzy feelings this series always gives me. Okay, so in this book Holly is helping her mom with get the world record for biggest gingerbread person cookie, trying to get an anniversary and Christmas present for her husband, and run the Reindeer Games Inn when one of the Inn's guests is found in the gingerbread murdered! Holly decides to help find the killer while also doing all her other tasks.
As I mentioned before I was so happy to see this series make me feel all cozy again. I really enjoyed this book and the mystery was awesome. I sat down and read the book in two days which means I had a great time. I went with vibes only for the rating so I think I had 4 stars worth of fun. I can't wait to re-read this book during the holidays.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves the holidays and cozy stories. The drama level is low. The characters are all nice. The vibes are festive. Put on some comfy clothes and curl up with this book because it will make you feel warm and cozy.
Thank you to NetGalley, Crooked Lane Books, and Jacqueline Frost for giving me the opportunity to read this advance reader copy of the book. All opinions are my own.

My Christmas in July (continuing into August because it’s the first and ONLY Christmas book I’ve completed in July) started off strong with one of my favorite cozy series of all time! Evan and Holly are adorable and couple goals and I just love every character and this whole town! I would LOVE to spend Christmas in Mistletoe! Even though I guessed the who dunnit, still a really solid mystery

Another super enjoyable read in the Christmas Tree Farm series!
I adore the cozy small town of Mistletoe, Maine and it's lovable characters.
In this fifth installment, we're back at the Snow Family business where Holly's mom is attempting a Guinness World Record for the largest baked gingerbread man, but things go awry when a body is found in the batter! This was a very engaging, fast paced read that I couldn't put down and I was truly shocked at the murderer reveal!
I think this one is my favourite so far! The suspense, wholesome characters and cozy Christmas vibes made for a very enjoyable read.
