Life, although it may only be an accumulation of anguish, is dear to me, and I will defend it.

This book is the perfect example of why some people shouldn't have kids.

The whole series of my life appeared to me as a dream; I sometimes doubted if indeed it were all true, for it never presented itself to my mind with the force of reality.

Estoy en ese momento después de terminar el libro en el que lo estoy procesando, pero lo primero que voy a decir es qué hermoso que este libro, y cómo la sociedad contemporánea se burló de él con la cantidad de adaptaciones infieles y paródicas que hay. Frankenstein, Shelley, I’m sorry babes.

I'm not big-brained enough to fully grasp the philosophical conclusions of this book, but I still liked it. Much more of a thriller than I thought.

Definitely worth reading but it is SO SLOW and Frankenstein is such an entitled whiner, I think I was supposed to feel for him, but I just wanted to shake him.

Apparently I love public apologies. I AM SORRY TO ALL MY FRIENDS THAT LOVE THIS BOOK. I’M SORRY I TOOK SO LONG TO READ IT.
It was great. Shelley is an excelent author. She portrays a very specific way of life almost encapturing time, and it works beautifuly. It’s a great gothic tale about Victor being depressed at every minor inconvenience and men never taking responsability for their actions. And the creature is smart, ish. Would read again.
