Es muy gastador emocionalmente porque la protagonista la sufre mucho, me encanto los primeros 2 capítulos, el final no lo entendí mucho, yo creo q me gustaría mas si lo hubiera analizado y comentado con mas gente pero overall, muy buen libro, lo leería d nuevo. También algo q no me gusto mucho es q cada mini capítulo era un poco separado del anterior y siguiente, me hubiera gustado que la historia no fuera cortada tan bruscamente pero no me costó seguir la trama

10 things I learned from this book:
1. Grandmothers are awesome.
2. You might be the descendant of an emperor, you never know.
3. People stand up against oppression in very different ways.
4. "Don't ever forget who you are!"
5. "We can only feel sorry for ourselves if our misfortunes are still supportable...once this limit is crossed, the only way to bear the unbearable is to laugh at it."
6. The Iranian Revolution is one tricky business.
7. "One must educate oneself."
8. People are herd animals.
9. Your truth will always be the explanation that makes the most sense to you. Whether or not the explanation is actually true becomes irrelevant.
10. History will always be biased.
