It's official. I am completely in love with Lee Child and his character, Jack Reacher. Reading a Reacher book is like falling into a giant tub of happiness. I never, ever, want to put his books down.
That said, "One Shot" is fabulous. Reacher comes across a case that is so completely perfect...that it can't be. And he finds the bad guys. All the while as cool as a fall day.
Now I have to read all of Child's other books. See you in a few years...

What do you expect from Reacher?
Entertaining, page turning novel. Nothing more.
Delivers on this 100%, so 5 stars.

If Jack Reacher was a real person I would buy him a cape. Lee Child has such a gift for making impossible situations turn into logical solutions. I never feel like he gets "far-fetched" in his story telling. It is just non-stop, clever action. Love this series!
So solid. So good. I love Jack, but it's still just a solid good Jack novel, entertaining but not moving. So I can't give 4 but so entertaining. Don't deny that, entertaining AF.
Another intriguing crime mystery about Jack Reacher, the x-military police, with no home yet always shows up when a crime needs solved.

Best airport novel I've ever read. The protagonist is gritty but not absurdly so, has relationships with women that aren't demeaning and the action isn't so absurdly overplayed as to unbelieveable. I will definitely read more in the Reacher series.
Fine enough Reacher novel, but suffers in comparison to the movie.
