This was a great read. I loved the love hate relationship between Penny and Hattie. It made the story so intense at times. The story is told from the POV of Penny who is older sister of the two.
I wouldn’t class this as a thriller as such but there was a darker, mysterious side to the book definitely.
I was keen to read this book and I’ve had the authors previous book on my tbr a while now. I also love the cover 😍
This book had me hooked I needed to know what the secret was and I wasn’t going to be satisfied until I reached the conclusion.
This story is only just over 250 pages long so it’s a nice quick read that will suck you in.
Thank you to Verve Books for inviting me onto the tour and for my gifted ebook.

This was a really interesting novel. It had me gripped and intrigued throughout. I felt so sorry for Penny even though I don't know if I should or not? I get why she did what she did, and tbh I don't blame her, but I probably wouldn't have gone that far.. Hattie was, in my opinion, a really annoying character. She was like the centre of attention for everything, and if she doesn't get her way, all hell breaks loose. I liked that Penny ended up forming a bond with Elliott, but that ending was so messed up. Poor kid. I felt sorry for Elliott and Jameson in the end as they were just poor bystanders who didn't know what the Greymoor sisters were really capable of.

this is one bizarre book and I am continually reading mostly fiction mostly current writings
I kept reading it wanting to know what would happen to these people the two sisters Penny and Hattie the boy Elliot and the man Jameson and also the police investigator Iain and the friend of Buddy who was married to Penny and abused her
What puzzles me the most is I dont know the author's message what she was communicating to the reader.
To me the sisters had a deeply disturbed relationship and they were both mentally unwell.
I will write more about this tomorrow...
